Meet Gracie, a Wells Fargo consumer loan underwriter from San Antonio, Texas. This event in Richmond,
California is her 19th Home Preservation Workshop.
... having the pleasure to meet the homeowners face to face and being able to discuss several
options on what it is we can do. I always picture myself in their situation and try
to have a better understanding of that situation to be able to make sure I address that, I
completely understand what they're coming for and why they're here, and more than happy
to be able to discuss those options with them.
Gracie and hundreds of consultants like her relish their one-on-one time with customers.
"The nice thing about these events, myself, that you're meeting me face-to-face, is that
I'm taking ownership of your file."
And it's moments like this they all strive for.

Erica is a Wells Fargo consumer loan underwriter in San Antonio, and she helped reduce the
principal on a mortgage held by customers Vern and Patricia. The move that makes their
monthly payment much more manageable.
This is going to be a tremendous help to us.
Huge, huge. You just can't imagine. I mean we've been starving Peter to pay Paul.
Patricia lost her job last September, and a week later a spinal cord injury left Vern
paralyzed and on long-term disability. They had exhausted their savings and were down
to $500 in their checking account.
I mean, this was exactly the number we needed for the mortgage payment for us to stay you
know, on duty. Our life will return back to normal. It'll be normal again like it was.
It was a pleasure meeting you.
The feedback we get from these customers having these events is pretty tremendous. They're
just even happy to shake somebody's hand and meet with somebody face to face and know that
they're going to have a personal point of contact.
So it is a tremendous great feeling to be able to represent such a great company and
seeing what we as a company are doing for these customers.
The workshops take team members like Gracie away from home for several days at a time
... but she finds inspiration in her own family.
I definitely always miss my family when I'm away. At the same time I always tell myself
I do this for them. When these individuals come to these events, that's the number one
thing they'll address before anything, they want to keep a roof over their families' head
.. the nice thing about these events, I can always go back and have that great satisfaction
that I helped somebody, I helped a family today stay in their home. So that means a
lot to me.
