My name is Abby, and I'm going to take you on a tour of our on-campus apartments.
So, let's get started!

>>Housing & Residential Life operates three apartment "suite-style" buildings.
These are great options for students who want the apartment experience,
but still want to get the benefits and services that living on campus offers, including -
if they choose it - an optional meal plan.
[ Music ]
>> Roy Wilkins Hall is located on the East Bank campus, next to Sanford Hall,
and close to Dinkytown, a very popular commercial and eating area on the East Bank.
Wilkins is also a short distance from the U's athletic practice fields.
Wilkins houses about 144 residents in three different unit types: one-person efficiency;
two-person, one or two bedroom apartments; and four-person two-bedroom apartments.
Here is a typical two-person one-bedroom apartment.
It offers a private bath, full kitchen, and common/living room.
The average square footage is 575 square feet.
The two-person two-bedroom apartment offers the same amenities,
but with two private bedrooms and a shared bathroom.
The average square footage is 746 square feet.
All Wilkins apartments come complete with furniture, air-conditioners,
Ethernet access, and carpeted rooms.
And Wilkins Hall has a nice mix of computer labs, game rooms and lounges,
laundry facilities, and study spaces.
University Village is located on the East Bank of Campus close to Stadium Village,
another area of campus that offers lots of restaurants and stores to choose from.
University Village is also close to the TCF Football Stadium
and Williams and Mariucci Arenas.
University Village houses 419 residents in four-person four-bedroom,
four-person two-bedroom, and three-person two-bedroom apartments.
A typical four-person four-bedroom apartment has four private bedrooms,

>> two full baths, a common/living room, and a full kitchen with a dishwasher.
There's also a Washer/dryer in each unit.
The average square footage is 1261 square feet.
Four-person two-bedroom units have the same amenities, but with two shared bedrooms,
so two residents in each bedroom.
Average square footage in these units ranges from 987 to 1185 square feet.
All University Village apartments come complete with furniture, air-conditioners,
Ethernet access, and carpeted rooms.
University Village has an abundance of specialty spaces: bike storage, exercise room,
computer lab, game room, lounge, and study space.
Mark G. Yudof Hall is located on the East Bank
of the Minneapolis campus and houses 457 students.
It offers mostly suite-style units with a few apartments.
Its central location allows access to Coffman Memorial Union,
the Weisman Art Museum and the central campus area.
Yudof Hall has 5 room types: the super single; super double; two-person-two bedroom suites;
super suite; and the two-person two-bedroom apartment.
The two-person two-bedroom suite is essentially a private room sharing a three-quarter bathroom
with another private room.
Each private room comes with its own sinks and kitchenette.
The average square footage is 335 square feet for the private room/bathroom combination.
The Super Suite offers two private rooms occupied by one resident each.
The residents share a 3/4 bathroom with a shower, and a washer/dryer.
The residents also share a full-size kitchen.
The average square footage of a super suite is about 560 square feet.
The Super single is like an efficiency apartment.
It's one room occupied by one resident,
featuring a private bath and a full-sized kitchen.
The average square footage is 235 square feet.
All rooms in Yudof come with the standard furnishings: bed, dresser,
desk and desk chair, and Ethernet.
And like other apartment facilities, Yudof Hall has its own computer lab, game room, lounge,
common area kitchen, and an awesome patio overlooking the Mississippi River.
