Hello, I'm Bruce Marshall fashion designer and Emmy Award nominated costume designer
here to talk to you today about how to dress for a casual night out on the town. As you
can see you know that you're going to be out at night so it tends to get a little cooler
so sometimes you just want to have a little jacket to make sure that you're ready for
the weather, for anything that may happen. But the most important thing about any subject
when we're talking about keeping it casual is that it has to be comfortable. That means
like clothes that you just live in like khaki's easy, it doesn't really it's not for business,
it's not for play, it's for anytime. So you're always safe if you go with your khaki's. A
really comfortable shoe with say a rubber sole. Something that's not so hard that you
would wear doing business to keep it again, more than anything casual equals comfortable,
and that's what you always want to keep it as. And that's pretty much how you dress for
a casual evening out on the town. Keep it comfortable. If you decide to keep it casual
for the weekends or any other time during the night like I said you definitely want
to make sure that you have a jacket, just something to keep the cool off if it gets
a little cool in the evening but more than anything when we talk about casual clothing
we really want to always keep it and keep the emphasis on comfortable. That's what it's
all about. Now one thing to remember about a casual night out is that you don't necessarily
know where you're going to go. You could go to the neighborhood bar, you could go to the
cinema, you could even go to the bowling alley. So you always want to be prepared and comfortable
and you'll always be that if you wear natural fibers like denim, cotton, and chinos you're
always good to go. So again, remember when you keep it casual keep it comfortable.
