My name is Ralph Trueb.
I am a professor of dermatology at University of Zurich.
I did my medical studies in Switzerland.
I'm a board certified dermatologist and board certified allergologist and
clinical immunologist.
And since August 2010, I'm in private practice in a center for skin diseases
and hair disorders.
A patient who wants to treat his hair and have appropriate hair care needs a
shampoo that works for him and is comfortable and has a good
conditioning effect.
And in my experience, this really works out for Pantene because it
builds up on a good science of hair care.
In my field, I'm very passionate about hair because hair combines two aspects
of medicine.
On the one side, reflected in the superficial condition of the hair, the
element of lifestyle.
And on the other side, reflected in the secret, in the depth of the hair
follicle, basic science of hair growth and here growth disorders.
What I'm looking most forward to in accomplishing with the Pantene Hair
Research Institute is combining knowledge in hair science with
knowledge in hair care and exchanging ideas and expertise with international
colleagues.
I have a personal interest in literature and philosophy.
And with growing experience in the medical field, I'm trying to translate
some of the spirituality out of that literature into my daily practice with
my patients.
