The book starts in an absolutely surreal atmosphere
Only four days have gone by since he has been attacked and killed. I mean, The Italian Prime Minister.
And right during the semester when he was leading the European Union.
Rome is mourning and under pouring rain.
But during the funeral, something absolutely unpredictable happens
In the river at the foot of Castel Sant'Angelo a the body of a dead man surfaces...
Initially, the investigation seems to unveil nothing particularly mysterious.
A man has drowned and they immediately think of a suicide.
In a few hours time, though, the investigation lead to the Prime Minister's assassination
and everything becomes a breathless manhunt.
My characters are normal people. There aren't any heroes thrown into the fray, or bad guys around.
Lorenzo Fossati is a young public prosecutor, who, unwillingly,
finds himself caught up in an investigation hiding a lot more than it seemed at the beginning.
I love telling about conspirations and the one you will find in this novel
is almost certainly the most surprising I've ever read.
Readers who love thrillers will love IL SIGILLO DEI TREDICI MASSONI
But also the ones who love mystery solving.
I look forward to seeing you in bookstores!
