This is The Hotel Gansevoort in Meatpacking...
Hotel Gansevoort could not be on a hotter piece of real estate. Located on the main
drag in the Meat Packing district, the hotel is actually the first luxury resort in the
area.
It's now just steps from New York's swankiest club scene, and some of its finest restaurants.
Rooms are simple and comfortable and decorated in a neutral palate. They have iPod, CD and
DVD players, as well as a flat screen TV.
The sleek bathrooms are spacious, with Cutler products.
Plunge is the rooftop pool and bar, and it is a Meatpacking destination , with a heated
outdoor pool open all year round, and plenty of outdoor space to take in the views. It
is hot day or night, and I think you can see why.
Exhale Spa is one of New York City's premier spa and wellness centers, and it's located
right on the lower lobby.
Tanuki Tavern is the hotel's Japanese-style gastropub. It serves Izakaya sharing plates,
sushi and sashimi, indoors and out. Carte Blanche is the lobby cafe and bar, perfect
for a quick lunch, snack, or a coffee out on the deck overlooking Ninth Avenue.
