I know that bottled water is extremely convenient, to buy bottled water but there's problems
associated with it that people might not be aware of for example: its extremely costly,
it can cost anywhere from maybe down from twenty five, fifty cents all the way up to
about twenty one dollars a gallon depending on how you buy it and what brand it is. A
lot of the bottled waters have had high leads of algae or bacteria growth in them from being
tested. They are also filling our landfills with plastic right now from these bottles
take anywhere from about four hundred fifty to thousand years to decompose. So I know
its convenient but I am going to try and show you some ways to get away from bottled water,
save you some money and get you a higher grade water. Another alternative to bottled water
is the vending machine water if you've seen those machines by supermarkets where you put
a quarter or two in and you get a gallon of water in a container that you brought. Vending
machine water actually fails to meet state standards about one third of the time, when
they tested them here in California. Vending machine water you have to understand is only
as good as the people that operate and maintain the equipment.
