Hello, my name is Denise Robinson and on behalf of Expert Village I'm here to show you how
to create a decorative pillow. The next step into making a pillow is to add the buttons.
As you can see I've already started and sewed two buttons onto the side, on one side here
so I'm just going to continue on with the other two sides. We just got finished ironing
on the Velcro to make it stick, so I'm just going to take my needle and thread a large
button and just place it matching the other side. I'm just going to sew it onto the corner.
I chose a large button so it can be pronounced when the pillow is either on the chair or
on your sofa. It has four holes so it has extra stain power and security on the piece
of fabric. Like I said I'm just sewing on the button onto the corner, make sure it is
very secure on the piece of fabric. The beauty of making this pillow is you can change out
any type of material that you like and it won't ever effect your existing pillow. So
that is why making just a simple cover to change your existing pillow, as I continue
to finish this up we'll move on the next step.
