time we know that there are two different ways in which people may become dyslexic.
One is definitely by means of heredity. The gene that is responsible for dyslexia is passed
from parent to child. However, many people as a result of accident or injury may also
acquire the characteristics that we classify as dyslexic. And that is called an acquired
dyslexia. So really there are two types of dyslexia, acquired by accident or injury,
and developmental. That means that you inherited the characteristics or the potential to display
the characteristics through the genes from one of your parents.
