What are you going to make? Saggubiyyam Lollipops (Sago Lollipops)
Ingredients required to make Saggubiyyam Lollipops
Sago, Potato, Buttermilk, Coriander, Curry Leaves, Mint, Cumin, Green Chillies, Salt, Oil
Soak a bowl of sago in buttermilk for 6 hours
Take the buttermilk soaked sago into a mixing bowl
Boil some potatoes in water with a little salt. Add the boiled potato pieces into the mixing bowl (Mash them)
Add salt as required
Add some coriander leaves
Add some cumin and some finely chopped green chillies
Add some mint leaves and some curry leaves
Mix properly
Take a pan and heat enough oil for deep frying
Mould the sago mixture into a long sausage shape around a skewer (ice cream stick), pressing gently
Make sure the mixture sticks to the skewers
Gently place the lollipops into the pan and deep fry them
Carefully turn them around to make sure it doesnt break off
Take the lollipops into a serving plate
