My name is Ilyes Ben Ahmed.
Truly, if you want to know:
It was the solidarity of the Tunisians.
In those days, we would stand guard all night
because there were no policemen.
Our wives came out of the houses and said: "Let's eat together."
Tunisia was like a family in those days.
Simply one family.
Even when I stood guard in another neighbourhood
and didn't know many people there, women always came and gave me something to eat.
These were unforgettable moments.
I helped my friends and my friends helped me.
We demonstrated.
But we never thought that Ben Ali would leave Tunisia.
That happened in two hours, I think.
Everyone came to the Ministry of the Interior and shouted: "Go away, go away!"
And finally Ben Ali didn't have another solution.
He boarded his plane and left Tunisia.
It happened in just two hours.
It was a revolution.
We were finally successful to depose the dictator.
