This is the 3rd time Christian Firtal hosts Pale Ale Festival
It is a tradition that started in 2011
At our 10 year anniversary
And it was a succes So now we're continuing
It has grown from year to year
Quite rapidly
The level of the danish breweries has gotten a lot higher
There is very few slips
And we had that the first year with beers that didn't work
We have 26 different types of draft beer at a time
With different Pale Ales
They come from various countries
USA, Belgium, Spain, we have alot from Denmark and England
Sometimes we also have some from Sweden
That is countries that makes quality Pale Ale
Especially Denmark, England and USA
We're counting on getting through about 75 different Pale Ales
In 3 days
A Pale Ale is type of beer that has it's origin from England
We've named our festival Pale Ale Festival
But that is a broad interpretation
We associate it with beer that has a lot of hops
It is also IPA's and black IPA's India Pale Ale
A beer with a lot of hops taste
dry, fruity
Kind of lemony
It is a light beer type with low percentages
That has a lot flavor
And therefore fits very well to the sun and summer
Let us
Jens: I can taste something sweet
Some sweets from sugar, tangerine, something lemony
Lars: Especially something sour
Jens: and then a dry taste in the end in the back of the mouth
So taste buts in the whole mouth is affected
Lars: it's a summer beer
Jens: It's a summer beer
Despite the high percentage it is light flavored
