>> The sunlight wains over San Luis Obispo
as cal poly students begin to prepare
for a well deserved break after a long day of classes.
[clock tower chimes] At the long awaited sound
of the bell tower chiming,
[music throughout] the students file out of their classrooms.
Some will go home to relax, some will grab essential nutrients
at a campus restaraunt and some will participate in...."
the march to the library.
The kennedy library at cal poly provides a haven for students
in need of a place to study or meet in groups.
For example, students often congregate
in the 24 hour study room.
Though these students often study
by themselves, they are never alone.
The reference room on the ground floor consists of books
and computers to assist students in their academic endeavors.
The kennedy library stands tall at 5 stories high,
students who would prefer not to take the stairs may access any
of the five floors via the elevator.
The second floor is the most populate, and often the loudest.
Here, students may meet for group projects in one
of several conference rooms or grab a newspaper
from the wide selection of periodicals available
to anyone at Cal Poly.
Also on the second floor,
Julians pattisery sells fresh roasted coffee to those who need
to stay awake during long hours of study.
Like the wise owl, most college students typically find
themselves adjusting to a rather nocturnal lifestyle.
As you can see these two students attempt the formidable
task of climbing the grand staircase
from the second to the fifth floor...
after a quick break of course."
Upon reaching the top floor,
the two students briefly celebrate their accomplishment.
Inspired by the view from the fifth floor window,
they decide to visit the atrium below.
Here they can relax and enjoy the pleasant weather
that San Luis Obispo has to offer."
[Cymbals chime] Alas most students have finished their
study for the evening and decide to depart.
Some will ace their midterms, others will not,
but one thing is for sure...
they will return once again to the Kennedy Library.
