Hello my friends and welcome to another Tuesday of tutorial.
I am Leonardo Pereznieto and I am very glad you are here.
Today we will draw a diamond ring.
We start by sketching a circle.
The way I do this is making many circles trying to correct
the path as I go.
Then go over the line that you see correct.
Good! Now let´s sketch the ring.
Mark a middle line as a reference, draw both sides
measure the length to make sure the other one
is the same, and do the other side.
The back of the ring I think it will look more or less like this.
And with a kneaded eraser let´s clean up the drawing
erasing all the lines that shouldn´t be there.
Good! Let´s do the things that hold the diamond.
And then the cuts of it. They may very a lot
we will start with two squares... then some triangles around them
and a series of triangles going to a center point.
This is really fun!
You can create your own design here.
I´ll try to draw a little better a ring part.
Using the kneaded eraser I´ll lighten the pencil marks
a little bit because they may be in our way when
putting the color.
With a light blue marker let´s start filling some of
the triangles.
This is so fun!
Now with a gray, we can do some dark accents,
and others with a dark blue.
We continue in this way filling in the geometrical forms
with different tones of markers and color pencils.
The list of materials is in the information bellow the video.
It is starting to look nice!
Now with white pastel, we do some highlights.
With black and white pencils, we can draw the pins that
hold the diamond.
With gray markers of different tones we can do the reflections
of the actual ring,
and then with white give it some highlights.
Let´s make it a shadow so it doesn't looked like it is
flying in the air.
I will darken slightly outside the center square
and lighten inside the square, to give it more contrast.
Excellent!
Let´s give it some final touches and it´s ready!!!
If you enjoyed it, please give it a LIKE,
share it to your friends... and subscribe to this channel
and I will see you on Tuesday! :)
