In the last tutorial, I covered the first step of inventory upload.
In this tutorial, I'll talk you through reviewing and saving your uploaded inventory.
After clicking Upload Inventory, the next step is to review and save your spreadsheet
to the system.
If you uploaded a spreadsheet created from our Excel template, you'll see our review
page columns match your spreadsheet for fast review.
The first option in each row is a Go to Right link that sends you to the right side of the
page.
There is also a Go to Left link, to go back to the left side of the page.
All successful ads start with the right resort.
In the top row, we had Harborside Atlantis in our spreadsheet so the suggested match
is Harborside Resort at Atlantis.
But for resorts with multiple phases such as this one, you may need to double-check
your entry.
If you needed phase two, you can select Harborside Resort at Atlantis II to correct the resort
for that row.
In row two of this example, you'll see there was no match, so the menu displays OTHER - Not
on List.
The resort menu has our full resort list for each row so you can choose the right resort
for each listing.
Can't find your resort? Contact us and we'll help you find or add the resort you need.
Email addresses and phone numbers are provided in the video notes below.
Moving on, we see menus for bedrooms, bathrooms, and sleeps.
The next field provided is for weeks. If you need more than one week in an ad, simply
hit the Add Weeks link below the menu to get a list of four more menus for adding weeks.
Click the Add Weeks link again to collapse the menu.
Next you'll see the points and fees fields. Use these fields to specify the number and
type of points, or amount and frequency of maintenance fees.
The next menu contains Deeded or Right to Use - labeled as RTU in the menu.
The Right to Use expiration year goes in the next field.
The usage field contains the options for what type of year availabilty the property has.
Next is the unit number field.
Then a menu for the seasonal availablity of the property.
The View menu allows you to choose from a list of common, desirable views.
If you don't see the season or view you need, you can contact us to have them added.
At the far right are the resale and rental price fields and the price comments menus.
Only fill in prices that best fit what you're doing: resale for selling, rental for renting.
If you aren't certain what to price your property, you can set these to $1 and contact us for
pricing help.
The note pad icons show a menu for 150 characters of special information about the property.
While not required, it is a good way to make each listing unique in the search results.
If you entered check in or check out dates on your spreadsheet, they will appear in the
rental price comments box.
The last items in each row are the comments box and save checkbox.
The comments box contains text from some of the columns.
Information from custom spreadsheets that didn't populate into the right column will
go in this box as well.
Each row is set to save by default. If you're not ready to save a row, just uncheck the
box.
When you're done with review, scroll to the bottom left of the window and click the Save
button.
You're all done! The next tutorial will show you how to edit
listings after you've uploaded and saved them.
Thanks for watching and happy uploading!
