Hello, I'm Neary Heng for SmileShocker.com. I am going to show you how create Leadbox
Launches from an Image Instead of Text Link or launches from Text Link on your WordPress
blog.
Recently, Leadpages came out with a brand new feature called Leadboxes. So we are use
Leadboxes to implement on blog creating text link that looks like this or an image looks
similar to this. So when you click on either one of these, it's going to launch an optin
page.
There are two things that you need to do before you get started. You need to know the location
of your image store at. For example, for me, where my images is stored.
Second, you already created Leadboxes in Leadpages. So once you those two things done. Let's get
started.
So currently this is my blog and what it looks like sidebar looks like without the text link
or image link for Leadboxes. First, I am going to create text link Leadboxes here. To do
that I am going to Leadpages, and I'm going to click on Leadbox I've already created.
And it launches this window with the code automatically fill in. If you click in the
box, it's automatically hightlight for you. Copy that code, and log into your Wordpress
back office. Go under Appearnace, Widgets. I'm going to put my optin page under Primary
Sidebar. Expend the text, and paste the code. Save it. Going to my blog, refresh it and
there you go. This is the text link Leadbox that we just created.
Next, I am going to add a image link here. And to do that. All you have to do is add
the text I highlighted here in yellow. What's that going to do is it's going to tell where
To add an image link, you need to add the text highlighted in yellow. What's that is
going to tell where the location of the image at. So the text you need to add is less than
image scr equal sign double quote follow by the location of the image close it with the
double quote. Once you do that, go to Leadpages, copy the same code, and paste it into Word
or whatever preference you want to use. This is the code that I copied from Leadbox.
What we're going to do remove the Click here to subscribe to my mailing list and replace
it with image location. So highlight everything to the end, copy it and come to where it starts
from click, highlight it all the way to list. So delete everything that say Click here to
subscribe to my mailing list. What that is this link here. So it's just unhighlighted,
just highlight it again to delete it and paste it. See that's the location that we talk about,
paste it. And once you're done, highlight the whole code, everything from start to end
copy it. Go back to your Wordpress back office, under the same location, Appearnce, Widgets
and just press enter a couple to give spaces, paste the code here and uhh save it.
Go to the blog, refresh it, and there you go! That's the image that I just created.
If you click on that image, it should launch the pop up. And here is the popup for the
optin page.
Now if for any reasons at all you do not want this text link and you want to remove it.
It's very simple. You just go back to you Wordpress and highlight all the default code
that you put in the first time. Delete it, save, go to the blog, refresh and you go.
It's gone. It's no longer here. So all you have here now is the image of Leadboxes.
If you want to add the text link Leadboxes back here again, just follow the same procedure.
Go Leadpages, copy your Leadboxes code, go to your Wordpress, the same location, at the
very top, paste the code, give it a few spaces, save, go to the blog, refresh it. And here's
the link has been added back. So that is how you create the text link Leadboxes or image
link Leadboxes. I hope you enjoy create your own links.
