Breezy: "My name is Breezy Mader. I am from Chanhassen Minnesota and I am a senior here
at UW-Madison."
"I made a movie for my ILS 274 class and the assignment was to make an intellectual autobiography
and so I decided to make a Claymation, stop-motion movie using all of my course materials from
the past four years. So, everything is made out of my notes and course readers, exams
and stuff like that."
"I didn't think it was going to be that much work. And then I started making it and it
took me, like, four hours for the first 15 seconds."
"And I was like, "Well, this is going to be a lot more work than I planned on".
"There is a part of the movie where I, like, am falling down or spinning in the air. It
obviously shows that it was a struggle and these classes were hard and I worked really
hard to get there."
"I sent it to my sister to show it to my mom and I got a call like five minutes later.
My mom was crying. She was so excited. She was like, "Breezy, you made something so beautiful!
I love it." "And then my dad saw it and he also cried. I was like, "Wow. I have emotional
parents."
"I did get an A. I got a 100% on the project."
"I did not think that my college career was going to be like this. Nothing was really
planned and I didn't have a set major and everything just came at me and surprised me
as it came. "
"This is definitely achievement. I am really proud of myself and really excited that I
made it because there were times I didn't think I was gonna."
"Going across the stage and getting my diploma, it is going to be exciting and relieving and
a collimation of these last four years. I can't wait. Who knows what is next? The world
is next."
