My name is Claudio Torresan I was born in 1984
I come from Treviso and I started my trip from there, in March 2010
In 17 months, with my scooter I arrived in Thailand
Through the Balcans, Turkey, Caucasus, Central Asia, South-East Asia
Most nations crossed by scooter, some others, as China, Vietnam, India, without it
There are many reasons to leave
My reason was curiousity, and to see new nations that attracted me, especially Central and South-East Asia
I leaved with my scooter because it was the vehicle that I owned at the time It was as using the resources that I had
I started to ask informations in 2005 by email, on how to enter China and other nations
Mine was a long process Sure you can spend less time
At that time I had to finish to study And I had to earn money to afford this trip
The preparation should be more psychological
"Can I stay alone for a long time?" "What are my real reasons to begin a trip like this?"
I do not know if there should be a spark to start
It's different from person to person
I needed a long time because I had wanted to end ongoing processes
Before to start you have to check up the vehicle
After think to the equipment Collect informations on how to enter nations with your vehicle, visas etc.
You have to spend time on internet to search
I don't know, I just got back It's only a week that I'm here
The thirst of travelling now is weakened Now I'm happy to stay here
I would make experience here, whatever it will be, it will be the right thing to do
If the desire to go will come back, I will try to satisfy it
The trip is a compromise, you leave to discover, but you also leave many things back
You have to put things on the balance and see what you need more
Negative things, I won't remove that
I won't remove anything from my life, we also learn from negative experiences
Positive things? Many...all the meetings with other people
And also to stay far from home, because I got to think many things never thought before
And mostly, to see the variety of cultures and break down some of my prejudices
On some places that I thought weren't civils and I discover to be more civil than us, in occident
The moral was the lesson learned from the trip
The trip as life teacher, cultural teacher, teacher of many things
There are people that leave to discover something, to open to the world, to become famous...
I had not many objectives
Because what happens, often is not what you expect
You have to be open-minded, and whatever lesson should be learned
Without aiming to do this or that
One thing, however, will happen, if must happen
And will not happen, if mustn't happen
