When it comes to choosing garden mulch, as you can see, we've got a lot to choose from,
so I'll talk you through it. Firstly, you've got an organic garden mulch. That's something
that's going to break down into the soil over a period of time. Things like your wood chip.
Now, with your wood chip, you've either got a very fine blend, or you can go up to a much
coarser, 20-mil blend. They'll both do the same job, and break down in time into the
soil.
So, after your wood chip, you could put a weed mat down. It's going to deter the weeds
from growing through into your garden beds. Another way of mulching your garden is to
use a decorative pebble, like so. Lots of colors to choose from in our range so come
down and have a look. A little bit more expensive to use, but the look is fantastic.
One thing to remember though is they hold a lot of heat, so you may have to water a
little bit more often with the rock. And lastly, if you've got a vegetable patch or a garden
that you turn over a lot, use a lucerne. It's actually going to enrich the soil as it breaks
down, adding moisture and ground heat. Away you go.
