Today we’re going to show you how to set up a scheduled scan and update.
Open Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and click on Settings.
Click on Automated Scheduling.
Here you will see any scheduled scans and updates.
First, we’ll demonstrate how to create a scheduled scan.
To create a scheduled scan, click “Add.”
Pick which type of scan you would like to schedule.
Next, choose the date and time you would like the scan to start.
Then, pick how often you would like the scan to take place.
You can also choose to scan for database updates before the scan starts.
The scan has been scheduled!
To create an update schedule, click “Add.”
Choose “Check for Updates” from the Operation Type.
Next, choose the date and time you would like the update to start.
Then, pick how often you would like the database to update.
The update has been scheduled!
Clicking on “Advanced” when creating a schedule will show you more advanced options.
