On October 12th, 2012 Purdue Calumet Educational Talent Search took students on a School Tour of the university.
The students are at Ball State University.
The Students are congregated waiting to begin their tour of Ball State University.
Students took a bus from Purdue Calumet from in front of the Library on 173rd St to Ball State.
The Students are getting ready to take the tour of Ball State University.
The students were divided into two groups and toured the campus.
The students begin their tour of Ball State University.
The trip was to expose students to university living, atmosphere and students attending college.
The students are being guided around Ball State University.
The guides are thrilled to talk about Ball State University.
Purdue University Calumet Educational Talent Search is part of the Trio Program.
Our main goal is to expose low income / first generation students to attend post-secondary institutions.
We do this by planning events that are both informative and fun.
We offer free tutoring and we have given SAT testing support.
We also assist our students in all facets of preparation for post-secondary education.
The students are enjoying the scenery and atmosphere of Ball State University.
The students listen to the guides closely taking in all the information that they are giving.
The students are continuing on in the tour while the guides lead them.
The Ball State University Tour guides wrap up their tour and lead the students back.
The students then returned into a central room and had a Q&A session with current students at Ball State.
The Ball State guides are answering any questions that the students have.
The students listen as the guides are answering questions that other students have asked.
The students write down any notes that they think are importanat.
The guides wrap up and the students head back to Purdue Calumet.
