-How do you mend a broken heart?
I think that's a question for the ages.
-Curl up in a ball, lay in bed.
-Like, feel sad.
-Oh! -Crying a lot.
-[ Sniffles ]
-I just think you got to wait it out.
-Time. -Time.
-Time and friends.
-There's no real other way to go about it.
-And sad music.
-If you can find a few songs
that really help to externalize your feelings.
-Patience and Fiona Apple.
-We could all ask Adele how to mend a broken heart.
-If it's broken bad enough, I don't know.
-You can never mend a broken heart.
-I think that break is always kind of there.
-No, you can. You get over it.
-Some people mend it by eating.
-Pizza and Ben & Jerry's...
-Chocolate.
-...and then working out.
'Cause the food you ate.
-Walking. Lots of walking.
-And then happy music and happy movies.
-Surrounding yourself with everyone you love.
-Good friends and good family.
-[ Giggles ]
-And distractions.
-Go out to the movies with your friends.
Get your mind off of it.
-I stuff it deep down inside,
and then it manifests itself into things like road rage.
-You just need to calm down and just relax.
-You just got to get over it eventually.
-Suck it up and just go with the flow.
-Give yourself three days to grieve, and keep moving.
-I found myself as myself without the other person.
Here I am, still going on, and it's all okay.
-Go back to the person that you were before.
-Focusing on yourself.
-You can fall in love,
and you have the ability to fall in love.
And you will be able to do it again.
-So, if you want a smart, funny, capable, attractive person,
be a smart, funny, capable, attractive person.
-And when you get ready to meet someone else,
you're that much better of a person.
