well I made my way to my favorite example you don't have to raise your
hand but if you can if you if you raised I feel good about myself
how many people know AYATUL QURSI.. { AYATUL QURSI }
the last example in the evening I want to share with you is AYATUL QURSI
okay we're gonna reciting together Aauzubillah minashaitan nirajeem
Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Haiyul-Qaiyum.
La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm,
lahu maa fis-samawati wa maa fil-'ard.
Man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnih.
Ya'lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum,
wa la yuhituna bi shai'im-min 'ilmihi
illa bima shaa'a. Wasi'a kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard,
wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma Wa Huwal 'Aliyyul-Adheem. AYATUL QURSI made up of nine
sentences AYATUL QURSI has 9
9 sentences (1 Allahu laa ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Hayyul-Qayyum.
Hayyul-Qayyum. )
number one) (2 La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm,
number two) (3 lahu maa fis-samawati wa maa fil-'ard.
number three) was number four
(4 Man dhal-ladhi yashfa'u 'indahu illa bi-idhnih.
number four) (5 Ya'lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum,
number five) then (6 wa la yuhituna bi shai'im-min 'ilmihi illa bima shaa'a.
illa bima shaa'a. number six)
then (7 Wasi'a kursiyuhus-samawati wal ard,
wal ard, number seven)
(8 wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma, number eight)
(9 Wa Huwal 'Aliyyul-Adheem. number nine)
9 sentences the first sentence
was incredible is that the last sentence and is number one
has something in common with sentence number 9...
sentence
two names of ALLAAH in the first sentence two names of ALLAAH in the last sentence
last sentence okay with the second sentence
before i go to the second sentence let me tell you something about how
security security guards have a very hard job
they have you seen as British guys that wear the funny hats at the towers
the Cask Marque the hard job..
and what are the best jobs for college students yeahh
but if you wanna secure you know if your security you have to stand secure in your boots
you have to stay at the CCTV for hours now and doesn't move 'em
is the same Pictured only looking for 12 hours
eight hours it's the most exciting thing you've ever done in your life
what tends to happen when you're guarding something you tend to get a
sleepy you tend to get tired when you're guarding something
you can use you see all seen of course you don't watch movies because you're
very religious but
you know but in movies they have these things called movies
and sometimes they have the they have an action movie and is the guys trying to
get inside a place but it has a security guard
but the security guard is so he grabbed them a girbed
you know and he gets in side time guys get the security guys getting sleepy
you understand okay 'ALLAAH azza wa jal' says
about himself 'La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm'
drowsiness
drowsiness happens when you're tired your eyes start can come close in a little
bit not sleeping but you're gonna have sleeping like that guy over there....
I'm kidding I'm kidding Hhha...
will have Sleeping that's SINA, and of course what happens after that what's
the next step
NAWM, first comes SINA, sina is like you
when you go to JUMMA and the khateeb says Innal hamda Lillaah
al lazi nahmaduhu wa nasta'eenahu that's sina
by the time he gets to
that's that's nawm
that's nawm okay so you know the difference between SINA & NAWM,
no drowsiness and then sleepy okay
this is the second sentence the second sentence is
these I think the creation has creation gets tired and it starts getting drowsy
and eventually falls to
sleep you know or sometimes you tell yourself no not just closing my eyes but
I'm not sleeping..
okay let me just close my eyes for a second
you're gonna you're finished okay
now here's the thing I know something about sina & nwam, because I'm a
teacher by profession
write so being a teacher is all you might as well do it
you know a PhD in sleep science is sleep studies cuz
you see students like you know how people check out at a hotel
you can see the brains checking out what
in the middle electoral that
the best this is the second sentence
about sleepy about exhaustion and sleep
drowsiness and sleep what was the second last sentence wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma,
guiding the skies & earth does not exhausts ALLAH
when someone exhausts what did they get sina
Sina & Nwam the second sentence is actually connected to the
second that last sentence (which is number 8 sentence)
(2 La ta'khudhuhu sinatun wa la nawm,) (8 wa la ya'uduhu hifdhuhuma)
he says
(3 lahu maa fis-samawati wa maa fil-'ard.he owns whatever is in the sky and the earth
number four I tell you further you need to understand the difference between two
words two names of ALLAAH Maalik & Malik
two names of ALLAAH Maalik & Malik
I hope I can explain this difference to you cuz all make you
appreciate this 'AYAT' like nothing else
Maalik is an owner
owner Malik I already told you today what is Malik king
king is there a difference between a king and owner yes
you are the owner of your pen what you do not say I am the Royal Sovereign I
love ink pen this
you know that that doesn't make a lot of sense
you understand owners can be a small things you can own a car you can own
computer you can own a phone
but you know it you're not gonne be king of it
kingdom is used for big things
here's another problem ownership
ownership is about property
it's about property but kingdom is not about
you know you're not at king over the tree or the king over
a piece on land you're king over the people who live in that land
kingdom is about controlling people
ownership is about controlling objects diference now
ALLAAH says
he owns whatever is in the skies in the earth
what is the AYAH about ownership
the AYAH is about ownership and ownership one thing about ownership it's Micro
so every single thing is owned by ALLAAH
okay was the third last sentence any one remember
His thron extends to the skies in the earth
when I ALLAAH talks about his throne he's talking about his
Kingdom one-dimensional control
is ownership the other dimension is Kingdom
both completing the picture
because if you're just an owner you're not a king and if you just a king
you're not an owner
by the way let me tell you the difference also nowadays in some countries
we have kings
you can be the king an Island but does not mean you own everything in
that island
no ALLAAH is the owner of all things
and the king of all things is that both of them are necessary
just because you won and by the way we could be that somebody owns all the
property but they're not the king
is that possible they own the property but the king is someone else
so they have property ownership but somebody else has authority
or somebody have a authority & on property ownership
but ALLAAH is Maalik & Malik
the Maalik part of ALLAAH as attribute
third sentence the king kingdom of ALLAAH
okay was the fourth sentence let's go back to
let understand this AYAH first
who will come and make SHAFA'A with ALLAAH except unless he gives
permission in other words what is SHAFA'A SHAFA'A you don't understand the concept
because we used big english word
intercession let's make it simple SHAFA'A mean you've got connections
SHAFA'A means that you were about to lose your job with your uncle is the manager
he came as an no nono.. he is with me
he is good
that's SHAFA'A on judgment day we are in trouble
possibly and then somebody comes as no no no there there there with me
with me go easy on them please
we beg ALLAAH azzawajal to qualify as for the SHAFA'A of
Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam and ALLAAH says nobody will come for you
for you your uncle your cousin your dad your mom your boss
not gonna come for you on judgement day ya ALLAAH actually his
not going to have that day we're good
you know my nowadays you can do that there with me VIP pass you b go inside
nah nah nah nah nah not over there there is no VIP ticket
except the only exception is if ALLAAH gives
permission so this AYAH is about nobody having any authority
authority unless ALLAAH gives it to them
to them nobody will have any authority
and the only exception and the exception is important
the exception is if ALLAAH gives it to them you clear about that okay
they know nothing they can control they have in circle nothing of his knowledge
illa except bima shaa'a
the fourth sentence
and the sixth sentence are both about a statement a about ALLAAH
and the only exception this statement was nobody has authority to make a case
except who ever ALLAAH gives permission they have no knowledge
except except whoever he wants to give knowledge to otherwise they know nothing
2 4 & the six sentences are correlated
the first in the nine the second & eight the third & seven the fourth in the sixth
sixth was left
the fifth Ya'lamu ma baina aidihim wa ma khalfahum, oh my god he says he knows what is ahead of them and what is
behind them
to as though and he knew what is coming ahead in the eye and what was
behind in the eye he put the BB and in the Middle of is it..
I know what's ahead & I know what's behind whose these like that
whose these like that's subhanALLAAH the way in which ALLAAH talks
the way in which ALLAAH delivered the speech and I want you to be cognizant of the fact
the fact is we now read the noble QURAN as the book
we read is a text we say sentence number 1 2 3 45 6789
did the Sahaba do that did the Rasulullah himself shallallahu alaihi wasallam look at
sentences number one sentences number nine in 2n 8n 387
no because he was just what speaking
he was speaking the noble QUR'AN we r able to see these things when they're put in
writing
the noble QUR'AN was so perfect when it was been given by speech
and which has no possibility a mistake when you write something when you say
something
oh man when you say something hard to take it back especially if it's on youtube
its hard...
but if you're writing a nasty e-mail
thenn you can before your head sends you raise that just say eid mubarak and then send it
send it..
you have a chance to take it back
when when when you know it when you're saying something is done
there's no way intended edit there's no one to fix
ALLAAH azzawajal reveal this noble QUR'AN not in writing he revealed in speech
he revealed in speech you know i've start with linguist non-muslim linguists
and I'm sure someone these things with them and then refused to believe that
the noble QUR'AN is Spoken
they refuse to believe in it has to be written
it can't be spoken as you're right it is written just not in this world
it is written you know Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz
but it was given to Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam as speech so it would become very clear
to anybody who listens
this cannot be from a human being
