My surgery has totally changed my life. I can do those things that I wanted to do, that
I dreamed of doing beforehand. Once upon a time in my life, a friend of mine said
promise me that you will make yourself happy.
And I have to say this is probably one of the most important things I've ever
done to result in being happy.
I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, a whole lot of
things going on.
The straw that broke the camel's back was when I could no longer adjust the seat in my own
car.
My life has been filled with
family functions, graduations, open houses, parties,
everything you can think of and every one of them revolved around food.
I'm proud of myself
probably for the first time in a long time.
I can't compare it to anything else.
I move, I
go, I don't have any high blood pressure, I don't have high cholesterol, I don't have
sleep apnea.
I feel like a whole new person and people tell me they would not even
recognize me today
as they would yesterday.
