Hi, my name is Melissa Maggiore with Alessi Bakeries. I'm going to be showing you how
to put a small bead border trim around the base of your top tier of your 3 tier wedding
cake. Using a disposable pastry bag, with a coupler and a coupler ring, and a medium
size writing tip, we're going to actually be putting a small bead border trim on the
top tier. Using a small amount of pressure, you're going to just gently put a small bead,
guiding the cake slowly, pulling the tip towards the cake, overlapping each bead one at a time.
Basically what you want to do is have a slow steady motion, making sure that all of your
beads or bubbles are gently overlapped, overlapping each other, so that way it creates like a
pearl necklace, or a pearl look, or a pearl effect. You want all of your beads to be even,
you want them all to be leveled, you want them all to be uniformed, and you want them
to just lightly glide around the base of the tier of your cake. My name is Melissa Maggiore
with Alessi Bakeries, in Tampa Florida.
