Goal weight and the date you want to reach your weight
Be realistic
If you want to lose more than two pounds a week
Consider getting a medical checkup and an okay from your doctor
This is something you should do anyway
In addition to providing your goal weight

My goal is to run a marathon in April
Running has been my exercise of choice so I am not new to it
However, I have never run a marathon
Additionally, I have a six month old son and a two and a half year daughter
So time outside of work is at a premium. If I didn’t have running experience
I would shoot for a half-marathon
But goals were meant to be difficult but attainable
So I will go for it
