Hi. So glad you're back here at Expert Village with me. My name is Kat Litrenta and I'm a
professional entertainer. We're putting together a one person show and right now we're going
to discuss the equipment for a 50's show. Look at this microphone, doesn't it just exude
50's. And it really works too. It's a wonderful prop. And from the moment you walk out, they
go "ahh, ohh. Also, we're going to talk about karaoke machines. How many people are you
trying to reach? If it's a room of maybe 35 or 45 people, this little karaoke machine,
for about $69.00, $79.00, this'll do you. But if you have to reach 100, 150, you've
got to have better equipment. This one here ranges about $750.00. It's got a handle on
it and it has wheels on it, which is very easy to bring in and bring out. Also, the
attachments on the top, have a place for, not only plugging in my microphone, but plugging
in a keyboard, if you have a keyboardist with you, or a guitar in case you can pick up one
of those guitarist on the way. It's so much fun to build a show and you've got to have
the right equipment. Make a book for yourself. This one here is my rock and roll book, with
Dee Dee at the hop on the front. And when you open it up, it's got Dee Dee on the disk.
Suppose you're doing a big fest and you don't need to bring all of this equipment, just
your CD? Well you don't want it to get mixed up with everyone else's CD. So, when you're
through having your production of your show, put your face on the label. They'll never
lose you that way. And my book is just filled with every song that I'm going to do. Bill
Haley and the Comets, Fats Domino, every thing's right here at your fingertips. It's so much
fun. I have a good time. I hope you do too.
