Okay like I told you in the previous clip since we already started doing the draw string
and putting it through the casing and we're coming up on the middle part of the hoodie,
and not, hardly ever in hoodies, but usually on like sweatpants and things like that, when
you're trying to do the drawstring and putting your safety pin through and all of a sudden
you come to a stop. You're like oh why can't I get through here, my safety pin won't go
through. What it is is most likely they have a seam sewn where it's closed and that's the
anchor the draw string in so it won't come out during the wash. And if you do have that,
most likely, probably 99 percent of the cases, it's a top seam sewn right on top. And what
you'll have to do is just break that seam a little bit, maybe get a little pair of scissors
or seam ripper if you have one and just break the little threads like this. So just pop
them and then just push against it. And you just push, push and you'll get through there.
And maybe at the end you can go ahead and make a little tack there too so it wont come
out. But I want to go ahead and re-thread this whole drawstring and see how fast you
can actually get it done. Just hold the end like I said and push onto the safety pin.
And I'm coming out to the hole on the other side. We want to pull it out. In the next
clip I'm going to show you how to make this even and make new knots on the ends so it
won't come through again. So we'll do that next.
