The foot placement required for a switch boardslide is very similar to the foot placement for
the regular boardslide, just picture everything backwards, the only difference is going to
be is imagine you are getting into a switch front side 180 because the foot position needed
is very similar to that. What you are going to do is hang the tip of your toe over the
board or the tip of your heel and just a bit of toe. The reason for this is that you need
to get a 90 degree switch ollie and this is going to help you push the board in that direction.
The other foot has to be right behind the trucks and the reason for this is so that
when you get into the switch boardslide it ends up being about right here, that is the
only way you are going to be able to get out of the boardslide is if you have your foot
on the tail so that you can put the weight to get out of the switch boardslide. So remember
similar to a switch front slide 180 and imagine with any switch trick it is like turning it
around and doing it the other way so if you already know how to do a boardslide just imagine
the mirror image of the foot placement that is needed and you can imagine how it will
be for the foot placement for the switch boardslide.
