I can tell you right now that this is going to be a very popular case.
A lot of people are going to buy it, and it's going to be huge.
It's very affordable, but it's very high-end and it's got a lot of great features.
This is the new Cooler Master HAF 932. This case will run all your high-end
very hot-running hardware, but it's a non-aluminium case, it keeps you
at a great price, and if you don't know what HAF stands for, I'm not 100% sure, but I think
It's High Air Flow. And high air flow is what you're going to get because
this thing has the biggest fans I've ever seen and a lot of big fans.
You don't see it right now but there is a big, big 230mm fan right here.
It's huge and it lights up red so It looks real cool and I'll show you at the end of the review
the way it lights up. Now, I'm going to move it to the side so you can check this thing out,
look at that. Check that 230mm fan. That's another 230mm fan, and it's still
got a clear side, if you come up over here, look at that, you have a window.
So you still have a window, you can see through the mesh, it'll still display your hardware,
but you've got a lot of flow going through here, and if I can show you this part,
You've got another 230 on the top. Are you counting these so far?
So far we have 3 230mm fans. So those are very, very, very large fans, and at 700 RPM,
they're very quiet. It makes sense. The bigger the fan, the lower the RPM,
it's going to flow more air but it's going to be quieter overall. The last fan you get
is on the back, and it's a 140 right there. And it's all included, so you're going to get
all the fans you need to cool down all that hot hardware. If you look down here,
your tooless bay, which is very nice, also has this mesh grilling that can flow air,
And all the way to the bottom, down here, it's a bottom mounted PSU, so that's also
going to help increase theairflow to the case, or make your case run cooler, anyway,
All the way to the top, check this out, you have input and output for your water cooling system,
but if you don't want to do it, you can knock this block of,
and put another power supply in there, so if you're running a nasty system and you need
more power, you can definitely do that with this, let's go through the front real quick
and then I'll go inside and show you the good stuf. Starting from the top, you have
4 USB 2.0's, a firewire, eSATA, input and output for audio, microphone and headphones.
Another thing you'll notice up here, is this little rubber mat.
Great to put left over screws, anything you want to get access to, it's also where you'll find
the power and reset buttons, conveniently located. It's got this little fill port here,
if you peel this off, it's supposed to be for filling your liquid cooling system.
I have no idea how you'd open the resevoir through the hole, so I don't find
the functionality there, but it's there, if you figure it out, you can use it.
Another thing that's really cool about this, this is definitely designed for the modder,
definitely designed for the enthusiast, because this 240 is mounted here,
The rest of these screws, you can either replace these with 2 120s here,
or you could fit either a 2X120 or a 3X120 radiator up here, it's got the bolt pattern
ready to go for that, so I really like that. Because that means you're not going to have
to get creative in how you mount your radiator. It's already got holes pre-build,
you don't have to drill, or get dirty doing anything silly, it's pretty much straight-up.
You guys know I love this stuff, thumb screws, it makes it very nice to take the case off
nice and simple, and you've got the big fan right there, a 230 like I mentioned, the actual size of
each blade is 190mm across. Let me show you the inside:
This is a full tower case, it is pretty big, pretty tall but not as big as the Cosmos S,
it's smaller but also cheeper, and it probably has just as much flow, just with biger fans
that are probably going to be quieter. Let's talk about what you'll get inside this case,
starting off over here, all Tooless 5.25" bays, 6 bays, you can use them all,
the bottom one is meant for a 2.5", which comes with an adaptor play which I'll show you in a bit.
Tooless drive bays for your hard drive, all through, and as you can see,
they're being cooled by the big 230mm in the front and there's space between the hard drives,
so the air goes through, cools them and then keep moving out.
At the bottom you have space for an extra 120, and also this little grill which can hold up
your power supply and give it a fresh air supply, there's a grill underneath it.
These expansion ports up here, very nice, all Tooless, and if you're not going to be using
them, they're mesh, so air goes through here, and also air going through here.
Moving on up, this is that 140 I was talking about and let's move to the motherboard tray.
It's got these little protectors so you don't cut your fingers, even though underneath it's
not sharp at all, and you have bolt patterns all over, it comes with a piece of paper that will
let you figure out which ones are which, so you can install your risers without
having to mount your motherboard. It will do EATX (extended ATX motherboards),
ATX, and Micro ATX. So it's a lot of good stuff.
5 3.5"'s, 6 5.25"'s, motherboard support for pretty much any motherboard you want,
It's at a great value. All the Tooless drive bays here, they all have anti-vibration pads,
so the hard drives are going to be quiet, they're not going to rotate, and what else can I show you?
Let me show you what's in the box, you get some cool stuff here, instruction manual, and that
piece of paper which is the manual for your mounting of the motherboard screws, your risers,
and a little adapter plate, it's going to convert a 5.25" to a 3.5" so in case
you have any peripherals or who knows, a floppy drive.
You also get a 8-pin extension connector, if you need to go far on a motherboard,
you can use this. You also get a bunch of nice zip tights for your cable management,
riser screws and motherboard mounts, as well as a little buzzer for your front speaker.
And my favorite part, if your computer case is on the floor, you get wheels.
So if it's on a desk you get a stand, and if it's on the floor, you get wheels.
Great options on this very nice case. Let me see if there's anything else I can tell you.
A couple of things: first of all, these little notches in here,
you can't see them but when you back the up on the other side and you take the back plate off,
these are the notches where you can run your zip ties. Genius. Genius, genius, genius.
It's very smart, a nice place to tip-tie all your cable, keep everything tidy and keep the great
airflow in this case flowing well. You have tons of holes for cable management.
So, you can definitely hide every cable. If you're a freak like me and you like to have perfect
cable management, you have all these holes at your discretion to use. So you can do a full
wire-tuck, you can hide everything, no one will see any of your cables, you can do a real good job
of cable management, excellent. All Tooless drive bays, all excellent,
if I had this case, first thing I'd probably do is to take it all apart and paint the inside black,
because everything on here's black, it's really sweet, got a great design.
The paint job on it is fantastic, let me show you the other side before I let you go.
Very nice black and this is even better, I love the way this looks. It's got half-written on it,
half glossy, half dull. This side window's great. It's really unique.
Usually it's either a whole window, or a fan. But usually not both, and not in this cool design.
The glass has that etching, I don't know if you can see it, it's got that security glass,
So a very cool case, I guarentee you this is going to be a very popular case because of the
price point and the performance you get as far as cooling it goes. So if you have any
questions about this fantastic case, go ahead and Email me, I'll see you guys next time.
The HAF 932 full tower case by cooler master is available fromt he retailers listed here.
