this is Adam Gerhardstein, campaign manager, standing on the Side of Love! Checking in
here from campaign headquarters. We've got momentum building! February 14th, reimagining
Valentine's Day, national Standing on the Sid e of Love Day, is right around the corner.
Over eighty communities all across the nation! Out in Potsdam, New York, they're having the
only Republican state senator to vote for marriage equality come and speak under the
banner for Standing on the Side of Love. In places like Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Illinois,
Washington, and beyond, people are making valentines that are asking their legislators
to stand on the side of love. In Atlanta, they're receiving an offering to support the
vital work of this campaign. In Binghamton, New York, they're making personal pledges
to do something loving in the week ahead. There's still time to host an event and there's
certainly time to attend one so go to our website, standingonthesideoflove.org, look
at our calendar, see what events are there, and register one if you have one in mind.
Now don't forget, bring out your cameras to these events because we want the whole world
to see what it looks like when we stand on the side of love. So take that photo, upload
it to our website the day of your event or the day after your event. If you can't tell,
I'm very excited about this day of action and I know you are too!
