My name is Amitavh Bhattacherji, I'm speaking on behalf of Expert Village. And I represent
my company, Abstract Frames and Supplies, Private Limited, Calcutta, India. Now I have
in my hand a completed frame. The size of the picture, the size of the glass inside
of the frame are the same. I will pick up the frame just to show you the fillet. As
you will see this is the fillet of the frame, where the glass is sitting on all the four
sides. This was the front of the frame and this is the back of the frame. And these pins
keep the glass and the back fixed to the frame. So now that I have cut the frame, joined the
four corners, then I have put in the glass and then I have my picture, and then I have
the back. This is the back. So please note that the size of the back, the size of the
picture and the size of the glass is the same. When I'm talking of picture I must point out
that the picture has been mounted to give it a little border and to give it some breathing
space from the frame. So this mat, I will explain in another episode, how the mat was
cut, why there are two layers of mat and details about mat cutting. But the picture size should
not be mistaken with the size of the glass and the back. My picture has a border so glass
size and back size is exactly outside of the mount. I hope you see the difference in the
picture because of the double mount. And that I have been able to show you what a good synthetic
frame is and the point that I have tried to make is clear. Thank you.
