Hi, I'm Dr. Michael Walker from Hill Country Facial Plastic Surgery Center and on behalf
of Expert Village we'll be talking about S-lifts today. Why do people get it? Well, the S-lift
is for folks who don't have as many saggy skin problems as the people who need a classical
face lift. The S-lift will typically correct some sagging around the jaw line and some
slight looseness of the skin under the chin or neck. The typical patient is somewhere between forty
to fifty years old. The classical face-lift patient is older than that, anywhere from
forty-five to eighty-five years old. So, we reserve the S-lift for the younger patient
with minor problems of loose skin around the jaw and the neck.
