The President of China said hello to the country's cutest diplomats at a wildlife park near Brussels.
These adorable Chinese pandas were loaned to the park last month, as part of a Chinese
tradition of using the bears to forge better relations around the world.
The President and First Lady spent the day with the Belgian royals at the park, after
they were welcomed to the royal palace on Sunday.
Unveiling an engraved stone bearing images of the pandas and the Belgian and Chinese
flags, the officials inaugurated the pandas' new home, a cave in the Chinese gardens.
The President is the first Chinese leader to visit Brussels since the EU established
ties with Beijing four decades ago.
The four then gave out panda toys to children attending the event, before heading inside
the pandas' cave.
