Okay folks, in this clip I'm going to teach you how to draw an elephant. Now what we'll
do is we're going to start with the elephants head, well the top of it rather, and work
our way from, backwards till we come back to the other side. So we're just going to
draw a little lump there for the top of his head. And elephants don't really have that
difficult of a body to draw. So I'm just going to kind of come down and draw a big, almost
like a. It will end up looking kind of like a peanut like shape. Now come down here and
draw some stumps that will end up being the legs, kind of come down. I would say the animal
kingdom, the elephant is easily, one of the easiest ones to draw. Come down here and we'll
draw the leg that's on the opposite side of the body. And come up here to what will be
the base of the head. Alright, so now we're going to draw the chin kind of coming out
like that. This elephant is looking, looks like it is going to be a little stout. First
thing we'll do is we're going to come in here and we'll draw the ears. Now there's a couple
different ways you can draw elephant ears. You can draw the African style which are kind
of a little bit more up and full, or you can draw the regular style which are a little
bit more, you know floppy. Almost like dogs ears. While we're back here we'll come and
draw the tail really fast, and kind of move on past this area. Draw little toenails here,
just little half circles. Now the most tricky part. I drew a little kind of an eyebrow,
little thingy here. It seems like most elephants really have kind of wrinkly eyebrows. Come
on down and we're going to draw the trunk. Which we'll kind of make it go up and out,
like that. Now first thing we're going to do is we're going to draw what will be the
connecting part of the trunk. Kind of come down and then, the bottom part we're going
to add a couple little, the lumps kind of like that just to give it some shape, texture.
Draw his eye, kind of up there like that. You can make it looking at you if you want.
Give him a lid there so that he kind of looks like he's lazy. Elephants, I don't know why
kind of come across as looking like lazier creatures to me. Now the trunk part itself,
we can draw the little tip kind of in there like this and if you want to add, come in
and add more detail where you kind of go like that to the bottom. Just kind of fill in the
little bumps that you did along there, just on the top a little bit. Definitely call attention
to the areas that you feel like should have attention called to them. Then if you want
to get into shading you kind of like, shading different parts of the body you wanted to.
Come down here, darkness, and a little stomach definition like that, there you go. An elephant.
