Hi Guys, welcome to Haniela's. Today I'm so thrilled to be joining 4
four amazingly talented ladies in
a fun collaboration. It's all about the Wedding this time.
Here are all the projects we prepared for you, you can check out all of them
down below I posted all the links in the description area, you can check it out.
I made a country style burlap cookie.
I'm using a round cookie with a rectangle indentation in the center.
To make the indentation I used a small
rectangle cookie cutter, and I made the dent into the cookie
before it was baked.
Start with outlining and flooding with 15 second royal icing.
Now we are ready to make the burlap pattern.
I'm using medium stiff royal icing
and a piping tip number 2.
As you notice I'm piping short lines
and I'm leaving a gap between each line
the gap is about a piping tip size, maybe slightly bigger so you comfortably fit another line between.
Now we are ready to fill in the rectangle.
I'm using black royal icing, this
will be a chalkboard.
We can finish this cookie, now I'm adding decorative border,
this will be a sugar edge
dip it into white sanding sugar.
Here I have some white food coloring and I'm going to write on the chalkboard.
These are royal icing ribbon roses.
You can find a tutorial on how to make these in my other video.
Using tiny little dot of royal icing you can attach these onto
a cookie.
Last thing we have to do is to add the leaves.
I'm using green royal icing and my piping bag is fitted
with leaf pipin tip.
And that's how you make a country style burlap cookie.
Don't forget to check out all of the projects from this fun Wedding Collaboration.
Thanks for watching and I'll see you next time.
