Now I'm gonna teach you the triplet step. Nice and easy, and this is a great exercise
to do for young dancers across the floor. Starts out to the side, you're taking three
steps moving forward, starting with the right, arms are pressing up and down. Step up on
your toe, up on your left toe, and then down on your right, you're gonna pick up that left
leg, then you reverse that same thing to the left. Up, up, down. It seems easy, but it
can be a little bit tricky with the up, up, down, up, up, down. Let me do it going directly
towards you. And we go, up, up, down, and up, up, down. It's a triplet step. Also to
create style you can see I'm doing a nice shoulder action. So shoulders are moving,
shoulders are moving. I'm gonna make a full circle down so you can see how it travels
nicely. And up up down, and up up down. Really point those feet and get up on your toes,
now a little faster, you can use different arms, traveling, arms, five, six, seven, eight.
And those are triplet steps.
