Teacher (reading a story): Dear kids we are the animals
from all around the world. We need your help.
We live in terrible conditions
because the rivers and oceans are polluted
the water is poisonous for us;
the soils are full of chemicals the grass is destroyed.
The forests are cut down and we lost our homes and food.
That’s why we are sending you this letter.
We want to ask you to help us survive.
Please do it as fast as you can.
Teacher: What do you see here?
Student: Burning trees.
Yes burning trees and here?
Students: Dry trees.
Teacher: What is this?
Students: The trees are dry.
Teacher: The trees are dry and burn. And what do we see on this picture?
Students: Everything is in flames.
Teacher: And what is this ?
Students: There are chimneys. And smoke coming out of the chimney.
The stove is leading to the chimney and the smoke goes up.
Teacher: That’s right. And what do you see here?
Students: Burned grass.
Teacher: Burned grass ok. What else?
Students: Rubbish!
Teacher: Where is this rubbish?
Students: In the forest.
Teacher: Could it be found in other places?
Students: Yes. Teacher: Where?
Students: In the ocean.
Teacher: Good. Where else?
Students: On the dumpster.
Teacher: Yes. Can we see rubbish on the streets?
Students: Yes we can. Teacher: Great what should we do now?
Students: We should protect the nature.
Teacher: How do we do that?
Students: We can protect nature when we don’t throw our rubbish outside of the dustbins.
Teacher: Wonderful.
Teacher: Now look in front of you. What do you see on these pictures?
Students: This is Africa! The forest!The North Pole! The sea! Teacher: Yes good job!
Teacher: Here are and the animas that sent us the letter.
Students: Bear!
Teacher: Where does the bear live?
Students: In the forest.
Teacher: What is this animal? Students: A penguin.
Teacher: Where does it live ?
Students: On the North Pole.
Teacher: Yes.Last picture.
Students: Lion.
Teacher: Now tell me what can we do to help the animals?
Students: We can clean the water. We can clean the nature. We should clean the environment.
Teacher: Yes but can we go to every single place and clean it up?
Students: Maybe.
Teacher: That’s right. Why not?
And what else can we do to help them?
Students: We can protect their health.
Teacher: Yes that’s correct.
Students: Yes that’s correct.
Teacher: Wonderful great. Students: We should not pollute their environment.
Teacher: Wonderful great. Students: We should not pollute their environment.
Teacher: That’s right.And how do we do that?
Students: We go to every country and clean it up.
Teacher: But how can we do it right now? At this moment we can’t go and clean now we have to answer that letter.
We should do something to help the animals.
Students: We can send helping post card!
Teacher: These are the materials; using them and glue and scissors you can make a card.
This card should be on natural topic. Every one of you should make his own card.

Student: I made tree with flowers bird Bulgaria’s flag and sun.
Teacher: It is very beautiful.
Student: I made a lion who lives in the polluted environment and that’s why he says “let’s clean the nature”.
Teacher: Great wonderful.
And now we will collect these cards and we will give them to a foundation which will sell them and then use the funds to buy the essentials for the animals.
This is what we decided-to help the animals.

Students: We felt great. We were happy that we will save the life of the animals.
