with your KYTC Minute The effort to build two Ohio River bridges
and replace Spaghetti Junction in Louisville is taking another step forward.
The Indiana-Kentucky bi-state transportation authority will hold its first meeting February
2nd.
The authority is charged with coordinating funding and construction of the 4-billion-dollar
megaproject.
The authority will adopt bylaws, elect officers and handle other organizational business during
the meeting, which will be held at Louisville’s Muhammad Ali Center.
Only a chosen few get the opportunity to play pro football – but every Kentuckian can
make a play to save a life during the Super Bowl 2010.
The Kentucky Office of Highway Safety has teamed with the National Football League to
remind fans to designate a sober driver if alcohol will be part of festivities for the
big game February 7. Nationally, statistics indicate nearly half
of fatality crashes that occurred on Super Bowl Sunday last year were alcohol-related.
