I learned the F is supposed to look like something with a hat on. Now I don't know whether you
can see this or not, but these letters, even though they happened fifteen, sixteen hundred
years after the Roman capitals that we were talking about, still are derived from them.
So here's my G. And remember, the beard of the G being the distinguishing characteristic.
So look what it is that I'm going to emphasize on that letter. So the same thought is going
through my mind when I create this G. Oops, the thought that this is the beard on the
G. I'm not going to lose track in my own mind of the character. The very basic nature or
character of the letter. The I and the J need to be very, very distinguished between each
other in this particular set of forms. So I often will do this. Right, now I'm not going
to go through the whole alphabet. No time. But this alphabet is one that I use for envelopes,
for special events, especially weddings. And this pen allows me to do a lot of flourishing.
And it also can do something called flick work. And it can also draw. So there you are.
Round hand script.
