Hi. I'm the star goddess. And here's how to spot a witch. A witch, or a Wiccan, can usually
be spotted by the flowing garments that they wear, covering up their corpulent bodies.
The pentacles around their neck, moonstones on their fingers, and a deep connection with
the goddess and mother Earth. They are found in groups of 13, a coven, and are usually
spotted four times a year, performing their rituals on their sacred holidays. Samhain-
October 31st, which is the Wiccan New Year; and it evolved into our ritual of Halloween.
The Midwinter Festival of Candlemas on February 2nd, the precursor for Groundhog Day. Beltane,
on April 30th, dancing around the Maypole. And Lammas, on July 31st, the Midsummer's
Festival, just like Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream, cavorting in the woods, skyclad
(a euphemism for naked) into the wee hours of the morning. Their favorite phrase is "so
mote it be", and they normally smell vaguely of sage and incense. So that's how you can
spot a witch. I'm Janet Sciales, the star goddess.
