Welcome I'll now show you how I teach the kids ArtRage
I press New Painting, ignoring the other setup options and then press Done
Now we enter the main user face
Firstly I'll show the kids the different tools The oil painting is the first and as in real life it mixes
Secondly there's the water color It also mixes
Then there's the airbrush The kids call it graffiti
Now I'll show you the spatulas It can be used for smearing and mixing oil
paint Then there's the paint roller
The tube of oil paint Let's just make some nice dots
Use the spatulas And mess it up
You can also use the oil painting brush How's the time where I usually ask the kids;
what's this? And I haven't met at kid that didn't reply
'a pencil' A very thin pencil
Then we arrive at marker no 1 It's very solid
Marker no 2 A crayon
Chalk And yet again I ask the kids; what's this?
And of course the answer an eraser Lots of kids are very impressed by the fact
that you can erase oil painting But that's one of the great things about working
on the iPad and not in real life Last, but not least, the bucket
The kids use this mainly to fill the canvas But one of the things they need to learn is
that it also filles whole surfaces If we chose the yellow paint dot in the left
corner and
press using the bucket tool, it files it up The clever thing is that as long as you have
a closed circuit og shape, a whole square og triangle you're able to change th color
with the bucket Okay
I'll choose Layers and delete it all In the
color wheel your can find any color in the universe.
At least, that's what I tell the kids You righter press using your finger or press
and slide until you find apron the color you want
I'd like to find a beautiful light green There it was, good
Okay
And now I'll
like a yellow flower
