How to stitch figures
A stitch box is very good for beginners

We will stitch Tigger
Your stitch box should contain: stitching fabric, figure, embroidery thread, needle
Find out what numbers belong to which thread colours
Your thread length should be not too long (knots) and not too short
Use whole thread if your fabric holes are big or split your thread for small holes
Thread through the needle
Count your figure stitches to know where to begin
Figure width: 44 stitches
Fabric width: 54 stitches
Space left & right: 5 st, space above: 3 st
Start stitching from lower stitch corner
Leave enough yarn to knot
Diagonal stitching
Purl stitch
Now: turning into cross stitch
Cross stitch
This will be the frame
You can work in snake rows or follow the colour

You can see a big K and a small k
Using the cross stitch you can decide wheter to stitch the small k or not
Or you can use the purl stitch to shape

If your fabric is elastic you don't have to stitch twice
