In this video, we're going to show you a cool lens aperture hack you'll need when
you use Canon EOS lenses
with an adapter. When removed from a camera, Canon EOS lenses automatically
open to their widest aperture.
To shoot longer exposures with the ND throttle and your Sony Alpha camera,
you'll need to trick the aperture in your EOS lens to stay closed down.
Here's how: mount your EOS lens on a Canon camera
and set it to the desired aperture.
Set the camera to bulb mode and take a picture. While holding down the shutter button
remove the lens from the camera. The lens will now be locked at its current
aperture. Mount it on your ND throttle,
increase the neutral density and enjoy shooting long exposures in daylight
or even longer exposures in the dark.

ND Throttle.
