You just watched me top sew the handle which is really easy because I had it ironed already.
All I had to do was just top sew where I had to fold it. And that is what I am going to
do on this drawstring. I am just going to set it right underneath. Move over and give
yourself a little room and I am just going to sew the whole length of this. It is going
to be real easy. And if you feel like you need to hold on extra you can hold onto the
top or you can dive it because some of it likes to move around and sewing something
small for so long you can kind of move.
There we go. And even if you kind of jump off you can just jump right back on, it is
not going to hurt it. Sometimes the fabric will shift underneath your sewing foot, but
that happens to me all the time too. Okay, there is one side of it. If you will look
at the one I made I sewed on both sides of it and that is an option also, just like sewing
the four rows. And I like to top sew on both sides of my stuff. I think it makes it lay
real nice and neat. So I am just going to burn another seam. Same way as this one, same
distance from the edge, but I am going to go real fast on this one. Okay, so there is
top sewing the drawstring and the last thing that we are going to do to this is I am going
to fold it in half and cut it in half because it is the drawstring type that loops around
the sides and I need two pieces so I cut it in half. When we put it onto the bag one side
is going to be like this and the other side is going to be like this and we pull it together
like that.
