Automatically translated by machine. Hello! Today's tutorial is a mish-mash of a lot of
different styles suitable for school! I get a lot of requests for school appropriate
hairstyles. It's a little hard though because every school
has different rules. My answer: put on a cute headband... done!
Seriously though, here are a bunch of real ideas.
1. First up is an easy way to wear a headband
a little bit differently. Pull two pieces of hair in front of the ears
forward. Put on the headband and then twist the pieces
backwards and pin them at the back of the head.
You can also skip the headband with this style and add a pretty bow or flower to cover the
pin. Cute and a bit more interesting than a plain
headband. #2
Next we have a simple style which is suited to Summer or being a bit more active.
For a quick clean look, tease your fringe upwards and then brush it back.
Pop a headband over it and then smooth down. This one is very quick and great for keeping
hair off your face in the Summer heat. #3.
This is a messy twist on regular plaits. Divide your hair in half and then plait half
way down. Tie it off then puff out the plaits so they
are really puffy. One done and then repeat on the other side.
You want to keep the plaits fairly loose as you're going and start the plait a little
further away from the ear than you would a tight plait.
This will give you lots of extra hair to puff it up and make it look messy.
#4 This style is a simple high half ponytail
but it's off to one side for extra cuteness. Grab a small section of hair at the top of
your head. This style works best if you leave quite a
bit of hair at the bottom. Brush it to one side and then tie into a ponytail.
Add a pretty flower and that's pretty much it!
My solution to jazzing up most plain hairstyles is to add a flower, bow or ribbon.
Super creative. #5
This lower side ponytail is a little more elegant.
Pull all your hair over one side to your ear. Tie up and add a flower.
I like to tie it just below my ear and then pull the band up to make it puff out.
Even a plain side ponytail looks better with a flower.
#6 Now let's try a fishtail braid.
With your hair over to one side, fishtail braid straight down.
You can fluff it out if you want to be more casual.
Add a pretty bow and you're done. This fishtail braid is cute and a little more
interesting than a regular plait. I did a full video on fishtail braiding which
is linked in the description if you want to learn the technique.
Much cuter than a boring old plait. #7
If you have a few extra seconds you can roll the braid up the side of your head and pin
it in place for an interesting bun. I really like side buns and I think they look
really cute with headbands too. This style would also look great with a flower
or a bow on top of it. This bun is good if it's a little humid during
the day and you want to get your hair off your neck.
You can pull it our further for a puffy look. #8
Next up we have the classic high ponytail. Even the classic high ponytail looks prettier
with a cute hair accessory. Pull the hair up as high as you can and tie
it in a sleek ponytail then just add and accessory. Very practical too.
#9. You can hide the band and be a little more
stylish by taking a small piece of hair and plaiting it and then wrapping it around the
band. Just pin the end at the back or slip it underneath
the band. Very cute and more interesting than the regular
version of the ponytail #10
You can also plait the entire ponytail and loop it around the band to form a bun which
looks a little bit like a crown. Puff out the loops a bit so they stick up
straight. You can do this one on the side of your head
for another interesting look. #11
For a pretty ballet bun you just need to use this sausage/donut. I've done a full tutorial
on this one already too so feel free to check it out in the description too.
You just need to wrap the hair around the donut/sausage and then pin it in place and
spray any stray hairs in place. Very sleek!
Again with a cute accessory to jazz it all up.
Simple. I love my accessories.
#12 Of course when I was actually at school I
didn't do anything interesting with my hair at all...
I wore it in a plain bun. But clearly there are other options.
Just remember to study hard too, I probably should have taken my own advice
at school and jazzed it up with a hair accessory. Oh well, never mind!
I hope this was video, please check out the blog post linked in the description for more
information and tutorials. Thanks so much for watching!
Bye!
