Ten Things I Hate About Germany:
In this video I'll tell you about 10 things I absolutely HATE about Germany and in part
2 I'll tell you 10 things I LOVE about Germany! Enjoy!
1. I HATE German bureaucracy! In Germany you have to fill out a three-page form even if
you want to buy a train ticket online. I mean wtf? Seriously?!
2. The second thing I HATE about Germany is the pay. We don't even have minimum wage and
so companies are free to exploit people as they like. There is even an ongoing joke here
about how the economy is carried on the backs of interns and work experience guys.
3. The third thing is that even though we are in the middle of Europe people my age
rarely, if ever go to visit most of the surrounding countries because the god-damn petrol is so
*** expensive. You pay around $2 for a liter of fuel here. TWO *** DOLLARS. I'm
surprised people can afford going to work at all.
4. The fourth thing I HATE about Germany is that Winter drags out soooo frickn long. I
love a white Christmas just as much as the next guy but after that I don't need 4 more
months of freezing temperatures, rain and grey skies. Sometimes it feels as if Winter
lasts for 9 months in total. Winter is not *** coming, Winter is ALWAYS HERE!
5. I also HATE that everything, except petrol stations, is closed on Sundays in Germany.
I mean really? Close down every single *** shop in ALL of Germany? What is the point
of that? To trigger survival shopping on every Saturday? I think it would be way more beneficial
to the people AND economy if shops were opened an additional day instead of transforming
us back into bargain-hunting caveman each week.
6. The sixth thing I HATE about Germany is that you can't just go into a movie theatre,
buy a ticket and sit wherever you want. You have to go in, choose a seat beforehand and
hope that no one sits on your seat because they were too stupid to find their own. Also,
there is an apparent danger of people booking seats right next to you even if the whole
cinema is empty. It happened to me on multiple occasions and it is just a big pain in the
***. 7. In Germany people look at you as if you
have two heads if you tell them your job is anything else but engineering and it feels
as if half of the population studies exactly that because it is ever so beneficial to study
engineering because every company here only wants engineers and you will end poor and
alone if you don't become a *** engineer. I'd like a non-conform future for myself please.
Thank you and go *** yourself! 8. Another thing I just HATE about Germany
is German television and especially the god-awful German dubs. Those voice-actors try their
best, I admit that. And sometimes it is not ALL that bad. But most of the time their voices
just sound so fake and over-exaggerated that it ruins the mood of most movies. Insidious
2? Wasn't that this German comedy? 9. The ninth thing I HATE about Germany is
the GEMA. The GEMA stands for genetically engineered music ape. And that ape keeps you
from watching most of the music videos on YouTube because he was altered in a way that
makes him hate good music or any music that people might even slightly enjoy. So instead
of your desired video you'll get a friendly "This video was *** by the GEMA, go ***
yourself and have a nice day". 10. Last but not least the tenth thing I HATE
about Germany is that Germany is still a cash country. If you're lucky enough to find a
place that takes card it does NOT accept credit card but maestro. Never heard of maestro?
Well, neither has 90% of the World's population but here in Germany it is the standard way
of paying for almost everything. Germans seem to believe that credit cards are for royal
highnesses and aristocrats. Well, that was the 10 Things I HATE About
Germany! Make sure to share this video with your friends and give it a thumbs up so that
