Welcome to G-TV! Today, we will be looking at the features of Eaton Cutler Hammer’s
enhanced 50 series photoelectric sensors. Eaton’s Enhanced 50 series photoelectric
sensors offer flexibility, durability, and high optical performance in a self contained
and cost effective package. There are four time delay functions, six sensing modes, and
four connection types available to suit your needs. The four time delay functions include on delay,
off delay, on off delay, and one shot delay. Sensors are available in through beam, reflex,
polarized reflex, diffuse reflective, clear object, and fiber optic sensing modes. Brackets
are available for easy mounting and to allow precise adjustment of sensor alignment. There
is a choice of pre-wired cable, built-in-mini connector, built-in micro-connector and pigtail
micro-connector versions. It has high optical performance models with a sensing range of
up to 500 feet on through beam and 10 feet on diffuse reflective units. Output options
include a 3 amp SPDT relay and the fully potted construction allows for the sensors to be
used in areas subject to wash downs, high shock and vibration. Eaton Cutler Hammer’s
enhanced 50 series photoelectric sensors, along with thousands of other products and
services are available at galco.com.
