So, I was outside walking to the store today, and I realized that I don't have anything made for a Halloween costume yet!
*Awkward noise*
So, with limited time remaining, and not many supplies
I'm gonna try to make a last minute Halloween costume.
This Halloween, I decided to do an homage to one of my favorite games of all time, and make my own Majora's Mask.
To get started, I grabbed an old cardboard box we had lying around, and cut out a square panel.
Then, after drawing a silhouette of the mask on the square panel,
I got to work hacking out my design with a pair of dull, old scissors.
It ended up looking something like this!
Now came the most tedious portion.
I outlined the difference colored pieces of the mask on various sheets of colored construction paper
and cut them out piece by piece.
Once I finally had all the parts cut out,
I was left with what was essentially a very strange puzzle.
Making sure to start from the base, it was time to break out my trusty old glue stick,
pretend I was back in primary school,
and do an Arts and Crafts session like there was NO TOMORROW!
I attached an elastic on the back with some yellow duct tape
I guess because yellow is colorful, and that works out!
Yes, this is a box for a
backyard portable barbeque grill thing...? Woo
For a last minute costume
you know, it really didn't turn out that bad!
Now, if only I could figure out how to... Blagh!
Thanks for checking out my costume!
