And this was a piece that was, was not scheduled to have any real gold on it. So what I did
instead was to paint areas like this first one. And I tried to make them look as much
like gold as I could. And so that's a matter of yellows and whites and oranges and reds
and dark reddish browns. And then I have another example for you. Now this is, was a bigger
piece which was turned into a green card. And this piece is also, was a commissioned
so this is the original and it was hung private, private wall somewhere in a lovely frame.
But I think one of the things that I want to point out to you is how amazing this piece
is considering how reduced down from the original it was. Because I'm guessing that this is
about, this may be as much as twenty five percent of the size of the original. So you
see when you can create something like this there are all kinds of possibilities for going
from the original to things like this. So you do the original and you spend the agony
and the ecstasies, you spend a really long time on it. You, you scrap it you start again,
if you make some sort of horrible mistake and you are working hard and it takes all
kinds of time. But in the end what you have is something that you can reproduce. So that's
fun.
